The International Protestant Church of Kinshasa
IPCK’s congregation is comprised of English speakers from many countries around the world. Diplomats, missionaries, business people and those serving with NGO’s are an especially strategic group as they influence the local culture and society. The international English speaking community is rapidly growing along with the rest of the Kinshasa population which is expected to surpass that of Paris by 2020.
In a confirmation of the importance of IPCK’s ministry, the National leadership of the Community of Protestant Churches in Congo, “L’Eglise du Christ au Congo,” has ceded a parcel of land to IPCK for the purpose of constructing new church facilities. The 36 x 60 meter plot has allowed for the construction of a 450 seat sanctuary which was completed in May of 2017. Our new multipurpose sanctuary serves as the worship center for our congregation as well as space for fellowship meals and meetings during the week.
We are excited about our second phase of construction which will provide Sunday school classrooms and other meeting rooms. Additional gifts will be needed to build and furnish our second phase of construction.
We would like to request your partnership in funding to finish this strategic project.
